When middleweight Avantil Khurtzide step into the ring December 17 to fight Ossie Duran for the WBC silver title, he will be stripped of the IBO title. The official reason is that the IBO doesn't rate Duran and thus will have to vacate the title.

Las Vegas-based Swedish super middleweight prospect Badou Jack, 8-0, has his next fight lined up for December 16 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. Opponent is to be announced. Jack is trained by Eddie Mustafa Muhammad and is promoted by Warriors and DiBella Promotions.

EU welterweight champ Luciano Abis have Karlo Tabaghua as official contender. Tabaghua beat ex EBU king Jackson Osei Bonsu in a big upset last time out but that was back in April. There were several offers for bigger fights coming Karlo´s way but all fell through and he has also been sidelined with an injury. Tabaghua hails from the Georgian Republic but has been fighting out of Stockholm, Sweden, for some time now.
