In 2008 «K2 East Promotions» held ten boxing tournaments – 5 in Kyiv and 5 in regions of Ukraine. Just a bit more than one year ago Vadim Bukhkalov, owner of «National Box Promotion», and Klitschko brothers established the biggest project in Ukrainian boxing – new promotional company «K2 East Promotions». And the payoff came in due time: the company has worked up the reputation of the leader in Ukrainian professional boxing and has put into action all the plans mapped out for this year.
Within 12 months «K2 East» with the support of world famous vodka brand «Nemiroff» and «Inter» media-group organized 10 big boxing tournaments in 5 Ukrainian cities: Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Odessa and Cherkassy (the 10th tournament was held on December 20th in Zaporizhzhja).

During quite a short period of time enormous work has been done with perfect results – fighters of «Ê2 East» have made great progress: Yuri Nuzhnenko won WBA welterweight world champion belt, Vyacheslav Uzelkov is close to winning world title, Avtandil Khurtsidze, Sergey Fedchenko, Maxim Bursak, Vitaliy Rusal and Valery Brazhnik moved up in world rankings, several young prospects started their careers under colors of «K2 East Promotions».
In total in 2008 boxers of «K2 East Promotions» triumphed in 16 title fights. And that is just the beginning.
