It looks like Zaur is hungry for fighting since his next bout has been already scheduled: on August 22nd in the ring of Pala Casino Spa and Resort , Pala, California, United States he’ll clash against experienced American Grady Brewer (25-11, 14 KOs) for vacant International Boxing Organization (IBO) light middleweight title.
In the co-event Maxim Bursak (18-0-1, 6 KOs) fought Alexander Sipos (19-7-2, 9 KOs) from Germany, the most serious opponent for Bursak so far. First rounds of the bout confirmed that Sipos is really a serious test for Kyiv fans’ favorite. Bursak threw a little bit more, however, Sipos’s defense was quite effective and what is more the German was counterpunching constantly. Bursak gradually increased his advantage in points but the bout was stopped unexpectedly in round 4 – Sipos twisted his ankle and was not able to continue. The accident left Bursak with a TKO win.
In the clash of heavyweights 25 year old prospect from Croatia Mario Preskar (16-0-2, 10 ÊÎs) who fights under colors of «K2 East Promotions» had no problems with Norway-based Russian colossus Daniil «Shrek» Peretyatko (16-22-0, 6 ÊÎs). Much faster Preskar outboxed his opponent and got a unanimous nod from judges in an eight-rounder
