On March 14, Stepan Chernovetskiy’s Elite Boxing Promotion gets back to the city with their top prospects. There will be no top-notch contenders like WBC #1 light welterweight Victor Postol or cruiserweight powerhouse Dmytro Kucher but rather young, up-and-coming guns.
In the main event, featherweight Oleg Malinoskiy (11-0, 3 KOs) will look to improve his record against switch-hitting Swiss-based Rwandan Patrick Kinigamazi (20-2, 3 KOs), also a kickboxing specialist. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds.
Entertaining Russian middleweight Marat Kulumbegov (13-0-1, 7 KOs) will try to become the first ever boxer to stop hard-nosed Georgian Levan Shonia (14-5, 10 KOs) in an eight-rounder. Welterweight Ilya Primak (7-0, 6 KOs) is matched pretty tough with local Armenian Igor Fanyan (14-6-2, 7 KOs). While Fanyan’s latest conqueror Stanislav Skorohod (6-0, 4 KOs) will try to defeat elusive Belarussian Andrey Abramenko (20-4-2, 4 KOs). Those fights are also scheduled for eight.
