It was a heavyweight fight in which Russian boxer Nikolay Israelyan scored a fourth round knockout over Ukrainian Alexander Subin. Subin was dropped in round 2 but managed to recover and fought almost till the end of a four-rounder. But Israelyan dropped him again at the end of the fight and the referee waved the bout off.
